Furever Tailored Terms of Service

Scheduling & Arrival

We do our best to arrive within your scheduled appointment window. Because we provide mobile, one-on-one grooming, appointment times may shift slightly due to traffic, prior grooming duration, or pet needs. We appreciate your flexibility and will always communicate any significant delays or changes in arrival time.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes.

• Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a $35 late cancellation fee
• No-shows may be charged up to the full service amount.

This policy helps us honor the time reserved specifically for your pet and accommodate other clients.

Pet Health & Vaccinations

For the safety of all pets in our care

• Pets should be current on core vaccinations (as recommended by your veterinarian)
• Pets must be free of contagious illnesses or parasites at the time of grooming

If your pet is not feeling well, we kindly ask that you reschedule.

Coat Condition & Matting

Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first.

• Severe matting may require a shorter haircut than requested
• Additional time or handling fees may apply for heavily matted coats
• In some cases, humane removal may be necessary to prevent discomfort or skin irritation

We will always communicate options before proceeding with any changes.

Senior, Anxious & Special Care Pets

We love caring for pets who need a gentler approach.

Senior dogs, anxious pets, or pets requiring extra support may be scheduled as an “Extra TLC” appointment, which allows for:

• Slower grooming pace
• Comfort breaks as needed
• Gentle handling techniques

Additional fees may apply depending on time and care required.

Skin, Ear & Coat Sensitivities

We use high-quality, gentle grooming products; however, some pets may have sensitivities or underlying conditions.

Furever Tailored is not responsible for:

• Pre-existing skin or ear conditions
• Allergic reactions to grooming products
• Irritation that may occur during or after grooming due to sensitivity or health conditions

We are happy to adjust products upon request whenever possible.

Behavior & Safety

For the safety of all pets and staff:

• Grooming may be modified or stopped if a pet becomes unsafe or overly stressed
• Muzzling or additional restraint may be used only when necessary for safety
• We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet cannot be safely handled

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

Accepted payment methods may include cash, card, or digital payment options.

Emergency Care Authorization

Your pet’s safety is our highest priority.

In the rare event of an emergency during grooming, I authorize Furever Tailored to take necessary action to ensure my pet receives appropriate care, which may include:

• Administering basic first aid if needed
• Contacting the owner immediately
• Seeking veterinary care at the nearest available clinic if urgent and the owner cannot be reached in time

I understand that I am responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred.

Every effort will be made to contact the owner immediately in any emergency situation.

Social Media & Marketing Release

At Furever Tailored, we love celebrating the pets we groom.

With your permission, we may capture photos or videos of your pet before, during, or after grooming appointments. These may be used for:

• Social media platforms
• Website galleries
• Marketing and promotional materials

We always aim to present pets in a positive, respectful, and professional manner.

All images are taken with care and focus on showcasing your pet’s comfort, personality, and grooming results. If you ever wish for content to be removed, you may request it at any time.
